About us
mid of 1997	MUTUAL　EDGE　SDN　BHD established, running the business by the trade name The Gym & Care and setup a showroom at PJ Amcorp． That was the time when Asian Financial Crisis took place. We had real hard time struggling through this crisis and here we are, always trying to source for the best product we can get and to offer our customers with the best service we can provide.
1998	We were proudly authorized the distributorship of Italian GYMNIC products in Malaysia and Singapore.
1999	IRENE LEE, a Malaysian pioneer aerobic instructor who possesses an international standard in aerobic teaching, was appointed our FITBALL master trainer.
2000	We appointed SIMPLY FIT the distributor of　GYMNIC products in Singapore.
mid of 2000	We setup our distribution centre and head　office at IOI Business Park in Puchong. Today, if you are driving along LDP Highway in Puchong, you will see a window display with many big balls, standing right above TOYOTA showroom at IOI Business Park. That was where we started our HQ.
end of 2000	Switzerland super brand AIREX which is specialized in high quality exercise and therapy mats appointed us their distributor in Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia.
2001	The manufacturer of GYMNIC products, LEDRAPLASTIC SPA, upgraded our distributorship to South East Asia. We had successfully recruited distributors from Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
2002	We were appointed the distributor of Germany high quality trampoline, branded TRIMILIN, in both Malaysia and Singapore.
2003	We started to face the pressure from up raising Euro exchange rate, but still trying our best to maintain the same price like before.
mid of 2003	We were authorized the distributorship in South East Asia for TRIDEX exercise and therapy band of England.
2004	A 158 year old French company THUASNE (pronounced as TO ANN), appointed us as their distributor in Malaysia and Singapore, but due to problem coursed by Euro currency, we have slow down our pace on introducing this excellent bracing products to the market.
end of 2004	The continuous raising of Euro for two years, absorbed all the profit we made. Comparing its lowest exchange rate against ringgit, Euro had raised about 50% by then and we have no choice but to raised the price of our GYMNIC products by 10% - 15%, effective from year 2005.
2005	With the recommendation of IRENE LEE, our FITBALL Instructor course was accredicted by FISAF (Federation of International Sports & Fitness) .
end of 2005	Once again, we gained the trust from another super brand, GYMSTICK of Finland and were authorized the distributorship in both Malaysia and Singapore. With our recommendation, CANDI SOO FITNESS were appointed by GYMSTICK Finland the master trainer in Malaysia.
2006	Candi Soo attended a GYMSTICK intensive course in Finland and was appointed also the master trainer of Gymstick in Singapore.
2007	IRENE LEE attended a GYMSTICK intensive course in Finland and was appointed the master trainer of GYMSTICK in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. She was also appointed the master trainer of BeBalanced Program by AIREX. At the same time, we were appointed the distributor of Gymstick in Indonesia and Brunei.
mid of 2007	We became active again to distribute THUASNE products. We believed that a 3-year delay will not affect the success of this excellent products in our market.
2008	THUASNE bought over Thaemert and Silima of Germany and we were appointed the distributor in Malaysia and Singapore.
early of 2009	We appointed DNR Wheels Pte Ltd as our distributor in Singapore. On the other hand we were appointed the distributor of FDI Crutches of France in both Malaysia and Singapore.
Today	We, The Gym & Care, are still trying to source for the best product we can get and to offer our customers with the best service we can provide.
